OptiGroup will reduce its carbon emissions from buildings and transportation through energy efficiency and a transition to renewable and fossil-free energy sources. OptiGroup aims to reduce its absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 54,6% by 2033, using 2023 as the baseline year.
OptiGroup aims to deepen the relationships with suppliers who are leaders in sustainability and use the Group's influence to build a low-carbon supplier network. OptiGroup is committed to ensuring that 81% of its suppliers, as measured by emissions covering purchased good and services, will have science-based targets by 2030.
OptiGroup supports the circular economy and the responsible use of natural resources by promoting and increasing the sales of renewable, recycled, compostable, and biodegradable products. The long-term goal is for 70% of product sales to comprise items manufactured using bio-based or recycled materials.
OptiGroup is dedicated to building relationships with suppliers who are leaders in sustainability and who actively promote responsibility, human rights, and transparency throughout the supply chain. OptiGroup aims for 100% of new and existing suppliers to comply with the OptiGroup Supplier Code of Conduct.
OptiGroup’s climate targets approved by SBTi
OptiGroup’s climate targets were validated and approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in October 2025, confirming that the company’s ambitions align with the Paris Agreement goal of limiting global warming to 1.5°C.

The approved targets include short-term goals for scope 1 and 2, and a long-term net-zero goal for scope 1, 2, and 3.
As part of this commitment, OptiGroup pledges to:
- Reduce greenhouse gas emissions from its own operations by 54,6% by 2033, compared to 2023 levels.
- Ensure that 81% of its suppliers, based on emissions, from purchased goods and services, have science-based targets by 2030.
- Reduce absolute scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions by 90% by 2050 from a 2023 base year.
